Escape from Tarkov has 12 different maps and Battlestate Games has released nine of them so far. Lighthouse is the eighth map that was added to the game and is an important story location. This Lighthouse was a main entry point for USEC units and was also their base of operations during Contract Wars. After the end of the conflict, Scavs took a liking to this place. Coming to gameplay, there are a total of 11 different extraction points on Lighthouse and the map can house nine to 12 players at a time. 

Interestingly, this map in Escape from Tarkov is based on the Aniva lighthouse located on the southern coast of Sakhalin, Russia.

Escape from Tarkov: Lighthouse features

In Escape from Tarkov, Lighthouse is currently the only map to include the Rogues faction and you can find them guarding the water treatment plant. Rogues at the water treatment plant have heavy machine guns and grenade launchers and regularly patrol the area and they will shoot enemies who get too close. Note that players of the USEC factions will not be shot. If a USEC player fights the Rogues, they will be treated as hostile for the next three raids.

Some of the notable features of Lighthouse are as follows:

  • Duration of Raid: 40 minutes

  • Number of players: 9-12

  • Size: Large map with indoor and outdoor sections and groups of buildings.

  • Bosses Found: Big Pipe, Birdeye, Knight.

  • Enemies: Scavs, Rogues, and  Zryachiy

  • In-raid trader: Lightkeeper

  • Things to look out for are minefields, claymores, and border snipers

The following are the locations of all the bosses on the map of Lighthouse:

  • Knight: Water treatment plant and at the blue chalet

  • Big Pipe: Water treatment plant and blue chalet

  • Birdeye: Blue chalet and water treatment plant

  • Zryachiy: Peninsula territory


Extractions on Lighthouse

Here’s everything you need to know about the extraction points on Lighthouse and their types:

Lighthouse map

1. Armored Train: This extract point can be used by players of all factions and is always open. However, you need to keep in mind the following details about this extract point:

  • It arrives when there are 20-15 minutes left in the raid

  • It honks twice on arrival.

  • It will stay put for seven minutes.

  • It will honk once when there is just one minute before departure.

  • Honks twice on closing doors.

2. Path to Shoreline: This extraction can also be used by players of all factions and is always open. 

3. Side Tunnel (Co-Op): This point of extraction is also open to all factions and is always open. It is located inside a room to the left after entering the tunnel.


PMC extract points:

1. Mountain Pass: It is always open and the requirement to extract through this are Red Rebel ice pick, Paracord and the player should not have an armor vest equipped. 

2. Northern Checkpoint: Always open

3. Road to Military Base V-Ex: Single-use extraction point. It costs 5000 Roubles per player. Note that the fee amount is influenced by your Scav karma.

4. Southern Road: Always open
