Seaside Vacation Quest in Escape From Tarkov Explained

Seaside Vacation is a quest in Escape from Tarkov given by trader Elvira Khabibullina, known by her alias "Therapist." Ever since the 0.13 update that dropped on 28th December 2022, players have been grinding through quests and upgrading their Hideouts in Escape from Tarkov as they started afresh with the new wipe. Notably, this update brought forth a new Gym expansion in Hideout where players could upgrade a room and work out to increase their stats.

Seaside Vacation Quest Guide

The premise of the quest reveals that the Therapist was working closely with someone who had been living at the cap Dalniy territory and that he always carried a briefcase containing medical studies and research. The therapist adds that he has not been contacting her for two weeks and that she worries that his studies could get into the wrong hands and that she’ll have to pay a high price to silence the information spread. “Please, mercenary, I am asking you to find my contact's briefcase. He used to drive a red merin sports coupe and was always telling me that he'd love to relax somewhere by the sea, farther away from all the city noise. Are you ready to take on this task, young man?,” she adds during the Seaside Vacation quest dialogue. 

All you have to do is get your hands on the briefcase, survive the extract, and hand it over to the Therapist. You should note that you need to be level 17 to start this quest. 

To recap, the objectives of the Seaside Vacation quest are as follows:

• Find the informant's briefcase on Lighthouse

• Hand over the found package

For this task, you will have to go to the Docks near on Lighthouse and find your way to the parking lot. When you are facing the red car in the parking lot, you will have to walk to your right toward the seaside cottages. Here, you will have to enter the leftmost cottage and go to the second floor and enter the first bedroom on your left. 

Jump up on the bed and you will find the package under the mattress near the window, and this is the informant’s briefcase that you need to pick up. Note that you have to survive the extract and dying during the process will mean that you have to do everything over again.
