Here’s all you need to know about the Guide quest.

The Guide is an exploration quest in Escape from Tarkov which is given by trader Tadeusz Pilsudski, commonly known by his alias Peacekeeper in the game. As the name of the quest suggests, you must act as a tour guide in this task. The biggest catch is that the quest takes place in multiple locations. You must also be at least level 40 to take this one up. Players should also note that finishing Wet Job - Part 6 will unlock the Guide quest. This quest is required to get your hands on the Kappa Secure Container in the game.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Guide quest in Tarkov, its objectives, and the rewards you reap after finishing it successfully.

How to Complete the Guide Quest in Tarkov?

Firstly, the Guide quest takes place in the following Escape to Tarkov locations:

  • Woods

  • Customs

  • Interchange

  • Shoreline

  • Factory

  • The Lab

  • Reserve

  • Lighthouse

  • Streets of Tarkov

When you take up the Guide quest, Peacekeeper says, “Some serious people who are, so to speak, new to the city, need the services of a professional guide who will lead the group to the right place and won’t ask unnecessary questions. They are willing to pay good money for this. Do you think you can handle it? If I see that you are indeed ready, I would recommend you to them, mercenary.”

The objectives of the quest are as follows:

  • Survive and extract from Woods with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Customs with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Interchange with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Shoreline with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Factory with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from The Lab with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Reserve with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Lighthouse with the "Survived" exit status

  • Survive and extract from Streets of Tarkov with the "Survived" exit status

Players should note that they must survive a raid at each one of the above-mentioned locations consecutively without dying, disconnecting, or running out of the timer. If any of this happens, they will have to start the quest from scratch.

Extracting from the raid with a “Run Through” status will not reset the quest but the raid will not count as completed. To avoid this, players must gain at least get 200 EXP in the raid by either killing or looting or being in the raid for at least seven minutes before extracting from there.

You can do the maps in any order that you please and it does not have to be a specific order, so long as you survive and extract correctly.
