The Tigr Safari quest is a discovery task given by trader Peacekeeper and it takes place on Customs.
For this quest, you need to mark three Tigr vehicles with the MS2000 Markers.

The Tigr Safari quest in Escape from Tarkov is a discovery-type task. It takes place on Customs, the second map that was added to the game. Players should know that Customs is an area that houses a customs terminal, fuel storage facilities, offices, and dorms, alongside other varied infrastructure and buildings. The Tigr Safari quest is given by trader Tadeusz Pilsudski also known as Peacekeeper. In order to take up this Peacekeeper quest, you must have completed the Fishing Gear quest.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Tigr Safari quest in Tarkov.

Tigr Safari Quest Guide

The only prerequisite to this quest is that players must be at least level 10 to do it. When you navigate to the quest, Peacekeeper says, “Russia has kindly provided the UNTAR mission with several Tigr LAVs. Today the mission has virtually collapsed, and the vehicles are left to rot in the rain. I need you to locate those three abandoned armored trucks on Customs and mark them with beacons.”

He adds that there are still many valuables left inside that can be salvaged and sold to American intelligence. But the catch is that the Peacekeeper says he does not have the beacons with him currently and that the player needs to fetch them.

The objectives of the Tigr Safari quest are as follows:

  • Mark the first Tigr vehicle with an MS2000 Marker on Customs

  • Mark the second Tigr vehicle with an MS2000 Marker on Customs

  • Mark the third Tigr vehicle with an MS2000 Marker on Customs

  • Survive and extract from the location

Here are a few things you need to know about the beacons or the MS2000 Markers:

  • You can buy MS2000 Markers from traders Prapor and Ragman.

  • It is advisable to store MS2000 Markers in special slots or pouches so they are not lost in the event of player death.

  • Upon marking, the MS2000 Markers will automatically be used and vanish from the inventory

  • The markers should be placed on the armored cars. When placed, you must stay alive until the timer finishes or it will need to be replaced again.

You need to be on the main stretch near the Sniper tower and the factories on Customs. The first Tigr vehicle is right next to the ‘hole in the fence’ next to the Sniper factory. Now, after marking it, turn your back to the vehicle and run straight until you see the next Tigr vehicle in front of you. Make sure to walk safely since the area has many sniper Scavs. For the third one, you just need to run straight until you pass the bus station.

The rewards for the Tigr Safri quest are as follows:

  • +5,900 EXP

  • Peacekeeper Rep +0.03

  • 900 Dollars

  • 945 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 1

  • 1,035 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 2

  • 1× Direct Action Thunderbolt compact chest rig

  • 2× M67 hand grenade

  • Unlocks purchase of B&T MP9 9x19 submachine gun at Peacekeeper LL1
