Enigma Gaming Aims to Conquer Skyesports Masters

Enigma Gaming Founder and CEO Aryaman Wasan expressed his enthusiasm about entering the tournament and emphasized the importance of Counter-Strike in the global esports industry. He acknowledged that although the game has faced challenges in India due to the country's slower development of esports over the past two decades, the recent rapid emergence of esports has created an opportune moment to invest in the game.

Wasan added, “With a new version coming up and the long-term vision of the Skyesports Masters, we are here to support Counter-Strike for the years to come.

Enigma Gaming aims to conquer the Skyesports Masters right from the get-go. The organization is expected to unveil its star-studded roster soon, comprising both national players and international imports. As per Skyesports Masters’ rules, they are allowed two import players. Additionally, two players will be selected from the Skyesports Masters cafe qualifiers which were held across 20 cities in India. By incorporating a mixed roster, Enigma Gaming aims to enhance the competitiveness of the tournament and provide opportunities for new talents to shine.

Commenting on Enigma Gaming, Shiva Nandy, founder and CEO of Skyesports, said, “The inclusion of Enigma Gaming, alongside renowned franchises, further solidifies Skyesports Masters' position as India's biggest gaming tournament. Enigma’s new roster, consisting of international imports as well, is a testament to their long-term commitment towards the vision of India’s first franchised esports tournament and Counter-Strike.”

The Skyesports Masters tournament will kick off with the League Stage on 8th July, running until 17th August. During this phase, the eight franchised teams will engage in intense round-robin matches over several weeks. Only the top four teams will advance to the highly-anticipated Playoffs, scheduled for 26th and 27th August. The Playoffs will be held in a LAN setting, allowing fans to witness the thrilling battles in person.

Enigma Gaming joins the likes of Gods Reign, Revenant Esports, Marcos Gaming, Reckoning Esports, Medal Esports, and 7Sea Esports in the Skyesports Masters CS: GO tournament. The last franchised team will be announced in the coming days, rounding out the eight-team bracket.
