7Sea Esports has announced its entry into the world of Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) by revealing its roster for the Skyesports Masters CS:GO 2023. The organization, known for its successful Battlegrounds Mobile India lineup, has signed a team of skilled players for the upcoming tournament. With a prize pool of INR 2 Crore, the Skyesports Masters 2023 is one of the largest esports tournaments in India.
Young Stars Unleashed: 7sea Esports CSGO Lineup
The lineup includes Yash “Benzene” Kumar Singh, Vishvesh “CycloneF” Bhavesh “Bhavi” Sejwani, Prateek “DiceDealer” Saini, and Elvis “ELV1S” Eric Soans. These players have been competing professionally for over two years, with notable achievements. Benzene, CycloneF, and Bhavi previously played together and finished second in the WD Black Cup 2023 and the Taiwan Excellence Cup 2022. DiceDealer, on the other hand, placed first in the Taiwan Excellence Cup 2022 and the ROG Showdown Summer 2022. ELV1S has also achieved significant accolades, including second-place finishes in the ROG Showdown Fall 2021 and the Logitech Loco Cup 2022.
In addition to the announced roster, 7Sea Esports will be signing two players from the open-for-all Skyesports Masters cafe qualifiers, which will take place in gaming cafes across 20 cities in India. These qualifiers aim to recognize the best CSGO talent from the grassroots level, and registrations for the cafe qualifiers are currently underway.
In a release, Ashwin Haryani, the Country Head (India) at Ampverse, a partner of 7Sea Esports, expressed excitement about joining the Skyesports Masters and praised the franchise format for its potential to elevate the Indian esports industry. Shiva Nandy, founder and CEO of Skyesports, also warmly welcomed 7Sea Esports to the Skyesports Masters and acknowledged the organization's achievements across multiple sectors.
7Sea Esports is now the third franchised team, along with Revenant Esports and Gods Reigns. After the conclusion of the Cafe qualifiers, the Skyesports Masters will become an online league, with the top four teams advancing to the Playoffs, which will be an offline Lan event.
