Indian esports organization Medal Esports recently announced its roster for the upcoming Skyesports Masters Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament. Medal Esports was declared as a franchised team on 23rd June and fans have been eagerly awaiting the team’s roster announcement.
Notably, the organization was the sixth franchised team to be announced for this premier CS:GO tournament. It will be joining the likes of Revenant Esports, Gods Reign, 7Sea Esports, Marcos Gaming, and Reckoning Esports as part of the Skyesports Masters.

Medal Esports Unveils CS:GO Roster for Skyesports Masters
On 28th June, Medal Esports introduced its CS:GO lineup and wrote, “Unleashing the Unstoppable Force. Meet our CS:GO Roster.”
The team consists of both Indian and international players. They are:
Iman "cara" Jeffery
Antonio "TonyPOPONY" Matuco
Sharan "Busterrr" Dave
Kiran "Rossi" R
Aman "SH4DY" Virani
Cara, the Malaysian In-Game Leader (IGL), has come out of retirement following his stint with Artisan Esports to join Medal Esports. TonyPOPONY, on the other hand, brings his skills and experience from the Philippines to bolster the team's lineup. Notably, Rossi, who previously shifted to competitive Valorant, has now returned to CS:GO.
Busterrr also explored opportunities in Valorant esports before finding a place in the Medal Esports CS:GO lineup. Prior to joining Medal Esports, Busterrr was a part of Team Valor, which participated in various Indian Valorant tournaments.
Kabir Kohli, the founder and CEO of Medal Esports, expressed his excitement about participating in the Skyesports Masters tournament. He emphasized the organization's long-standing dream of establishing a competitive CS: GO team and highlighted the tournament's impact on the Indian esports landscape. He opined that the franchised model of the event not only fosters grassroots growth through cafe qualifiers but also ensures the commercial viability of participating teams. Kohli reaffirmed his team's belief in the tournament's long-term vision and their commitment to strengthening the growth of Counter-Strike in India.
The tournament, set to begin in July, will feature eight of the best organizations in Indian esports. The League Stage will kick off on 8th July, with the top four teams advancing to the Playoffs stage scheduled for the 26th and 27th August. Notably, the Playoffs will be a LAN event, setting a new benchmark for the Indian esports industry, said Skyesports. The tournament organizer announced a massive prize pool of INR 2,00,00,000 for the event.
Medal Esports has been actively participating in many esports titles. It recently announced its entry into the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) competitive landscape.
