One of the invited amateur teams in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League Philippines (MDL PH) Season 1 is ZOL Esports and it has officially announced its roster for the upcoming event. The team revealed that two iconic veterans will be leading the squad alongside promising youngbloods. ZOL Esports is widely known for acquiring various pro players for its amateur squad. The mix of seasoned veterans and promising rookies could potentially be a threat in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1. 

The MDL PH Season 1 is set to be held on 15th February featuring eight teams from the franchise league and two invited amateur teams competing for the championship title.

ZOL Esports unveils MDL roster featuring MPL veterans

As one of the top contenders in the MLBB amateur scene, ZOL Esports has a lot to show in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1. Through a Facebook post, the squad unveiled its roster for the upcoming league season featuring two seasoned veterans.

The squad is composed of the following members;

  • Carlito "Ribo" Ribo Jr.

  • Joshwell Christian "Iy4knu" Manaog

  • John Clarence “Milktea” Cabaron

  • Andrei “FOLKMARR” Nablo

  • Mario Chinoval “Raizel ”Solana

  • Luke Andrei “Lucas” Reodica

  • Lei Archie “lei good kid” Labigan

  • Ryan Michi “RayL” Asaoka

Ribo is considered the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) in the MLBB esports scene. The pro player is also an MPL PH Hall of Legends inductee similar to Rafflesia who is now playing under an Indonesian MDL team, Pendekar Esports.

Iy4knu is one of the most iconic veterans in the MPL league. The pro player has been competing in the pro leagues since Season 4. 

Head coach Paul Lennon “Yesh” Valenzuela and assistant coach Jeff will be leading the squad in the upcoming development league.

With a mix of seasoned veterans and promising young talents, ZOL Esports aims to make a breakthrough and win its first championship title in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1.
