One of the amateur Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) teams in the Philippines, ZOL Esports, has acquired three veteran players for its lineup. The pro players who joined the amateur squad are Carlito "Ribo" Ribo Jr., Allan "Lusty" Castromayor Jr., and Jeff "S4gitnu" Lenjesson Subang. ZOL Esports is one of the non-franchise MLBB teams in the Philippines and has competed in various local tournaments. Ribo and Lusty were former Bren Esports members and were a part of the legendary squad that dominated the M2 World Championship. S4gitnu played under Nexplay EVOS for only one season before eventually being released from the team during the off-season.
Ribo, Lusty, and S4gitnu return to the MLBB esports scene under ZOL Esports
Through a Facebook post, the esports organization ZOL Esports proudly announced the acquisition of three veteran pro players for its amateur team.
On 22nd July, the esports organization made a post with the caption, “We formally announce that S4gitnu and Lusty are the newest additions to our Mobile Legends roster. We are excited to have them onboard. Get ready for the storm that these guys will bring to their opponents!”
The announcement hyped up the fans. However, ZOL Esports had more surprises in mind. Through a separate post on 23rd July, the esports organization announced it acquisition of the renowned G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) MLBB star Ribo.
In the post, ZOL Esports captioned, “We formally announce that Ribo will officially join ZOL Esports as a player in our Mobile Legends team. He will complete our BIG 3 with S4gitnu and Lusty.”
Ribo has an amazing track record of achievements in the MLBB esports scene such as winning the MPL PH Season 1 and Season 6. He also has won awards at an international level such as a gold medal in the 2019 Southeast Asia (SEA) Games and a championship title at the M2 World Championship.
With three veteran players in its roster, it shall be most interesting to see how ZOL Esports fares against other teams in local MLBB tournaments in the Philippines.
