KielVJ, MP The King, S4gitnu Join Omega Neos MDL PH Season 1 Roster

Omega Esports unveiled its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League Philippines (MDL PH) Season 1 roster featuring veteran pro players and two youngbloods. The squad will also be led by a seasoned veteran who has been competing in the pro scene since Season 5 of the Pro League. Two new faces will also be competing in the official development league to prove their potential for the next generation of the Smart Omega squad, the renowned comeback kings.

The MDL PH Season 1 is set to be held on 15th February featuring eight teams from the franchise league and two invited amateur teams competing for the championship title.

Through a Facebook post on 3rd February, Omega Esports announced its development squad featuring a mix of veterans and promising youngbloods.

The squad is composed of the following players;

• Cesar Jefferson "Amethyst" Santos

• Kiel VJ "Kielvj" Hernandez

• Michael "MP The King" Endino

• Jeff "S4gitnu" Subang

• West

• Zone

Amethyst served as Smart Omega’s analyst during the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) PH Season 10 and the Invitational league back in 2022. 

KielVJ is one of the veterans under the comeback kings’ squad. With his return to action in the esports scene, it will be interesting to see how much the player has improved since his previous run in the MPL Invitational 2022.

MP The King is a former Nexplay EVOS prodigy. He received praise from fans and pro players back in the MPL PH Season 9 for his explosive gameplay as the team’s jungler.

Omega Neos also signed the former TNC and Cignal Ultra veteran, Douglas Joseph "ImbaDeejay" Astibe II. The two new faces - West and Zone aim to showcase their skills alongside the seasoned veterans in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1.

It will be interesting to see how Omega Neos performs in the upcoming MDL PH Season 1 with its team of promising and proven talents.
