Garena is all set to kick off 2022 with some huge collaborations, first with the award-winning Assassin's Creed franchise announced in early February, and now with popular K-pop band BTS.

Further it has been confirmed that the collaboration will be taking place across both Free Fire and the advanced version of the game Free Fire MAX. This means that despite the base version of the game facing an active ban in India across all mobile platforms, Android users who have migrated their Garena Free Fire account over to Free Fire MAX will be able to participate in all the themed events, claim associated rewards, and enjoy the highly anticipated crossover.

While Garena promises to deliver a special collaboration with events both inside and outside of the game, Free Fire's producer Harold Teo says that "Bringing BTS into the Free Fire universe will offer our players more ways to engage with the game, socialize with the community, and enjoy new experiences".

This is all the information that Garena has revealed so far about the upcoming partnership between Free Fire and BTS. However, based on previous collaborations with personalities like Brazilian DJ Alok, American DJ KSHMR, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, and more, the community can surely expect something good headed their way.
