Valorant players are always excited and filled with anticipation when an Act ends. With Episode 6 Act 3 coming to a close very soon, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Episode. Riot Games announced many new things for Valorant that are slated to be introduced to the game following the release of Episode 7 Act 1. Some of the updates lined up include a new agent, a new Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode, and other cosmetics through the brand-new Battle Pass.
One of the significant changes is Valorant's new progression system which is poised to bring better daily rewards, a new currency called Kingdom Credits, agent unlock events, an accessories store, and many other exciting things.
Here’s all we know about Valorant Episode 7’s release date, battle pass, and other details.
When Is Valorant Episode 7 Releasing?
Firstly, prominent leakers in the community have reported that the new Episode of Valorant will most likely be called Evolution.
Twitter user ValorLeaks tweeted, “Episode 7 will be called: EVOLUTION | #VALORANT”
The Valorant Episode 7 release date can be expected to be 27th June (Tuesday) since the current Battle Pass in the game is ending on 26th June. Usually, when a Battle Pass ends, the next one soon begins.
According to leaks, the following are the Act dates for Episode 7 in Valorant:
Act 1: 27th June to 29th August
Act 2: 29th August to 31st October
Act 3: 31st October to 9th January 2024
However, since these dates are not confirmed by Riot Games and are unofficial, they have to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Battle Pass
Riot Games has yet to confirm the cosmetics and contents for the Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 Battle Pass. But as usual, the Battle Pass will have goodies, even for those who have not paid for it. However, you can expect the usual suite of Valorant skins, sprays, and other cosmetic goodies to be up for grabs.
Other Features in Episode 7
The newest game mode – Team Deathmatch (TDM) – will be released along with Episode 7.
This will be a fast-paced game mode, allowing tactical gunplay with all available weapons, agents, and even their abilities. The best part is that it will be played on custom maps made specifically for the game mode, which is reportedly named HURM.
Riot Games also teased the upcoming Valorant agent – Agent 23 – in its recent Dev [developer] Diaries titled “What’s Next in 2023” which came out on 5th June. This is going to be a “shiny new” Sentinel who will soon be joining the ever-expanding roster of Valorant.
Though we are not sure exactly when this agent will be released, what’s surefire is that you can expect this new Agent to be out in Episode 7.
The developers also revealed that Valorant’s progression system will be getting a massive overhaul when Episode 7 launches later this month.
