New Valorant Progression System: Everything you need to know
The main point of attraction is the new currency, Kingdom Credits, on which all the changes in the progression system depend. It introduces a new way to engage with a lot of in-game cosmetics and content, adding a whole new layer through which they can interact with the players.
Better Daily Rewards For Playing Valorant
Once the new progression system goes live along with Episode 7, players will earn XP along with the new currency Kingdom Credits, after every match.
While the XP will help players progress in their battlepass and even upgrade their profile level, Kingdom Credits will help them in many other ways discussed below,
Introducing Agent Recruitment Event
New agents in Valorant used to be unlocked via their respective contracts, however, moving further they will be obtained by completing a limited-time agent recruitment event absolutely free for all players.
Playing matches and gathering points can ensure that the agent gets unlocked, otherwise one can always purchase them directly by spending 1000 Valorant Points during the course of the event.
Another way to unlock the agent is by using 8000 Kingdom Credits any time after the recruitment event ends. The recruiting event to unlock Valorant agents will start from the upcoming Sentinel that will be released.
Unlocking Agent Gear
The agent-specific gear can still be unlocked by further grinding the game, if not, the players can simply spend 8000 Kingdom Credits and unlock the final high-tier reward without leveling up.
Accessories Store
A whole new store will be added to Valorant where stuff from past battlepasses like cards, sprays, buddies and titles can be purchased using the Kingdom Credits exclusively.
These items will be on a weekly rotation, so players better make a swift decision when it comes to purchasing from here.
These are all the changes that will be coming to Valorant along with the new progression system from Episode 7 onwards. So make sure you stack up on as many Kingdom Credits as Valorant allows and use them timely because only a limited amount can be stored at a time.
