Team Undying, one of three North American (NA) teams at The International 10 (TI10), has been sponsored by Eaze, an American cannabis company. As part of this sponsorship, users will be able to receive discounts on Eaze's cannabis marketplace by using Team Undying's promotional code. This is the first sponsorship deal the team has signed. It was announced in July 2021 that Team Undying would compete at TI10 as an independent organization and under its own name but would still be open to partnering with sponsors. A fundraiser was also held later to raise money for TI10’s bootcamp.

Eaze will sponsor Team Undying Dota 2

“Thanks to the overwhelming support from our fans, we're excited to announce that we are now sponsored by @eaze, a cannabis marketplace and company providing safe, legal access via delivery,” announced Team Undying via its Twitter handle.

The Eaze website offers delivery of a variety of cannabis-related products related to flowers, edibles, wellness, and more. Founded in 2014, the Eaze organization has raised $202.5 million from investors, according to Crunchbase.

Finally, Team Undying has been able to secure a sponsor. As soon as the team qualified for TI10 through the NA qualifier in early July 2021, it announced that it was searching for an organization to partner with. The team then appeared later that month with an updated name, logo, and an announcement that it would attend TI10 under its own banner. Even though Team Undying was unable to join an organization, it still sought sponsors.

At the time of writing this article, Team Undying has raised $14,454 USD of the total goal of $20,817 through its fundraiser. According to the team's manager, Peter Anders, a down payment was given on 13th August 2021 for TI10's bootcamp and the remainder is due by 2nd Oct.

In other recent news, Team Undying had hired former TNC Predator player and coach Kim "Febby" Yong-min as its Dota 2 coach.

Besides Team Undying, Quincy Crew is another North American team competing at TI10 under its own name. Both teams will be in action at the tenth edition of Dota 2's World Championship, which begins with the group stage on 7th Oct 2021 in Bucharest, Romania. On 10th October, the group stage will conclude, and the Main Event will take place from 12th to 17th October at the Arena Nationala Stadium in front of a live audience.

In a chat with AFK Gaming, Team Undying’s support player Kim "DuBu" Doo-young had emphasized that visas and bootcamps were two of the most crucial aspects he looked for in an organization. Due to the fact that they are now competing independently, this sponsorship deal should prove particularly beneficial to them. The full conversation with DuBu can be read at the following link.
