Team Liquid confirms long runnings speculations as they announce Josh "⁠oSee⁠" Ohm as their third signing for the 2022 CS:GO lineup. The 22-year-old will be joining the North American esports organization as a dedicated AWPer after having played with Extra Salt for about a year.

OSee is one of the most successful players from the North American tier two circuit, in 2021 alone the player has had an overall HLTV rating of 1.29 with a similar impact rating. In his time with Extra Salt, his contributions have helped the team achieve victory at multiple DreamHack Open tournaments, ESEA Cash Cups, and even made it through the ESL Pro League Conference Season 15.

With a third player now under their belt, Liquid has confirmed 60% of its roster for the next competitive season following the retention of both Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic and Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski.

Team Liquid after retaining NAF by extending his contract till 2024, followed by the benching of Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip, Michael "⁠Grim⁠" Wince, and Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo have now signed oSee to operate the bolt action sniper.

Statement by oSee on joining Liquid's CS:GO team

The 22-year-old talented AWPer who has previously played for multiple North American organizations like Team Singularity, ATK, Cloud9, and most recently Extra Salt, is really excited to join Liquid. He feels it is going to be a huge learning experience for him and that Liquid has enough firepower to be a top contender in CS:GO.

Talking about how he got into gaming oSee further went on state that,

My FPS career kinds started since when I was aorund six or seven to be honest. I played a game called 'Soldier Front', it is also an FPS shooter on PC, after that around 2012-13 I started playing CS:GO. I kept playing it and joined my first open team in 2014-15, around then.

He further revealed that his dream remains to lift the Major trophy, so that is definitely something he would be aiming for and believes that Liquid has the potential to do so.

Liquid while welcoming oSee also thanked Extra Salt for a smooth transition, where the marksmen had spent his last year grinding and winning loads of local tournaments.

So far all rumors about Team Liquid have come true with a few reports claiming that Nick "⁠nitr0⁠" Cannella and Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon will be securing the last two slots on the team.
