Highlights
As per reports, nitr0 returning to compete in CS:GO again with Team Liquid is very close to coming true.
Team Liquid might undergo a massive overhaul of its CS:GO roster as per all the incoming reports.
The reported Liquid CS:GO roster for the next competitive season might consist of EliGE, nitr0, shox, and VINI, so far.

A name synonymous with Team Liquid, Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella, had switched over to Valorant in August last year and as per earlier reports was considering a move back to CS:GO again. Well, since then things have moved quickly as the 26-year-old is now nearly ready to return home, to Team Liquid, after more than 15 months.

His adventures in Valorant where he played professionally for 100 Thieves did not pan out as intended, as his team failed to qualify for all the international LAN tournaments including Valorant Champions 2021. With 100 Thieves preparing for an overhaul, nitr0 seems to be on the verge of moving back to CS:GO with Team Liquid as reported by 1pv.fr.

Report: nitr0's comeback to CS:GO with Liquid is close to a reality

Team Liquid's CS:GO roster is in shambles, the team internally is not feeling it and this clearly reflected in their match against Team Vitality at the currently ongoing BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021.

Earlier reports have stated that both Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo are supposedly on their way out of Liquid, with the former already being approached directly by an unnamed organization.

While FalleN's reported reunion with former teammates Marcelo "coldzera" David, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, and Lincoln "fnx" Lau for a 'Last Dance' has fallen through, he still seems to be walking away from this team.

As for Michael "Grim" Wince and Keith "NAF" Markovic, the two don't seem to be fitting in Liquid's future plan at the present moment, as per reports from 1pv.fr.

Additionally, a few players that have been connected with Team Liquid's future CS:GO roster are the French veteran Richard "shox" Papillon, who is reportedly in advanced discussions with the team, and Brazilian rifler Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo who currently plays for FURIA Esports, as reported by Globo.

This leaves Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski as the only player who is in the clear and will confidently be present in the next iteration of Team Liquid's CS:GO roster.

  • Richard "shox" Papillon

  • Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
