OSee to Reportedly Complete Team Liquid's CS:GO Roster for 2022
Liquid close in on their fifth player.
Team Liquid has been busy assembling a new CS:GO roster for the 2022 competitive season. There have been a lot of reports about multiple players moving in and out of the team, the latest being the addition of Josh "oSee" Ohm as the speculated fifth and final player.
The 22-year-old might be coming over as a dedicated AWPer in place of Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, who is on his way out of the team back to Brazil. Currently playing for the North American esports organization Extra Salt for about a year, oSee has been impressive in 2021 with an overall HLTV rating of 1.30.
With Team Liquid supposedly closing in on oSee, the organization now seems to be ready with a complete CS:GO roster for 2022, as per a report by 1pv.fr.
Liquid reportedly close in on oSee to complete CS:GO lineup for 2022
So far Team Liquid has officially confirmed just one CS:GO player for its 2022 roster, Keith "NAF" Markovic, by extending his contract till 2024. This came as a bit of a shock as all speculations pointed towards Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski being the first possible retention.
However, this does not mean that Liquid is giving up on EliGE, who is still very much going to continue ahead with the team and complete his seven years with the organization.
Apart from these two existing players being held back, Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella seems to be on the verge of migrating back from Valorant to his former home. Joining him will be veteran French player, Richard "shox" Papillon, who would be a part of an international roster and is reportedly in advanced talks with Liquid.
Though earlier reports had linked Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo to Liquid, the move seems to have dissolved. Despite, VINI being excluded from FURIA's plans for the 2022 competitive season, it is unlikely that Liquid pick him as NAF has already been retained by the organization.
So this last position is now being handed to oSee as per reports, who could be Liquid's dedicated AWPer for the next competitive season. He has already helped his current organization Extra Salt qualify for ESL Pro League Season 15 through the ESL Conference, while also winning two DreamHack Open North America tournaments in March and June 2021.
If all the reported moves come through as stated above, then the Team Liquid CS:GO roster for the 2022 competitive season would look as follows,
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
Keith "NAF" Markovic
Josh "oSee" Ohm
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Richard "shox" Papillon
Eric "adreN" Hoag [Coach]
