FaZe Clan has quickly become one of the most exciting teams in Counter-Strike 2 to look out for. The team is setting new records every other day, expanding its trophy collection by winning consecutive tournaments, and has successfully left behind its rough patch from CS:GO.

Believe it or not, all of this started with FaZe Clan losing its first-ever CS2 match on LAN against GamerLegion at IEM Sydney 2023 on 16th October.

In less than a month, it stands as the top-ranked team with three trophies under its belt, the most recent being the CS2 Asia Championships 2023 where it defeated MOUZ in the grand finals, extending its win streak to 15 matches.

FaZe Clan Defeats MOUZ to Win the CS2 Asia Championships 2023

FaZe Clan came into this tournament as the favorite and it lived up to all the expectations, walking away as the champion for the third time in a row after having previously raised the trophy for both IEM Sydney 2023 and Thunderpick World Championship 2023.

The best part is that FaZe Clan has not been slowing down at all since swinging the momentum in its favor and is currently standing on a 15-match win streak, which could grow even further at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023.

During its run in the CS2 Asia Championships 2023, FaZe Clan came close to losing a series multiple times but always managed to push things into overtime and convert it into a win.

The team played a total of nine overtime rounds, five against Ninjas in Pyjamas in its opening match of the tournament, one against ENCE in the semifinals, and three against MOUZ in the grand finals.

Somehow the game always ended with FaZe Clan coming out on top, continuing its unbeaten streak and collecting more silverware to showcase its absolute domination in CS2 so far.

FaZe Clan Wins CS2 Asia Championships 2023

FaZe Clan has found its rhythm and is taking things in stride without missing a beat. The team is on a hot streak and will be the favorite going into upcoming tournaments including the BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2023.

Other teams will be studying them a lot more closely but as revealed by Robin "ropz" Kool during a recent interview, the team could show us some new stuff as they now have the much-needed time on their hands to practice more.

It will be interesting to see if FaZe Clan plays some new cards in upcoming tournaments to further strengthen its grip on the CS2 throne.
