Wise revealed that he was not bothered that he did not win the grand finals MVP in the MPL PH Season 10.
Wise stated that he doesn't mind not winning the MVP title as long as they win as a team.
Wise jokingly shared that he is more upset that he did not win the MVP award prize money than the title itself.

The journey of Blacklist International to reclaim the championship in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10 was one of the most endearing moments in the league’s history. When the Codebreakers ultimately won their third MPL title, fans were rooting for Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario to be named Grand Finals MVP (Most Valuable Player). However, to many’s surprise, the team's EXP Laner Edward "Edward" Jay Dapadap was chosen as the finals MVP instead. In the post-match press conference, Wise stated that he is not upset by this and is pleased that the squad is once again the MPL PH champions.

Is Wise deserving of the Finals MVP award in the MPL PH Season 10?

Shortly after Blacklist International was crowned MPL PH Season 10 champion, fans were curious to see who would be named MVP of the grand finals match. Fans screamed for Wise's name to be called on stage, but to everyone's amazement, Edward won the title.

Shortly after the award ceremony, Wise shrugged off the thought of being the MVP for this season and revealed that he wasn’t fazed by the decision.

“Personally, I wasn’t hurt. A while ago, when we became the champion, they kept shouting ‘Wise!’ then I said ‘Don’t jinx it, or else I wouldn’t be the MVP and it would hurt me,” the renowned jungler stated.

He added that the MVP title doesn’t matter much to him anymore as long as his team can achieve greater heights in the MLBB esports scene.

“If I was in my rookie years, of course, I would love to be the MVP. But I’m already at a time where even if I’m not the MVP, as long as we win as a team, that’s more important,” said Wise.

The star jungler joked that his regret is that he “wouldn’t be able to grab the prize money from the MVP award instead of the title itself.”

Wise added that perhaps, he would get his own MVP award in the upcoming M4 World Championship.

“My team deserves the MVP award. All of them shined in the tournament but we all have our own timeline. Maybe I would have mine during M4. I made a mistake on my statements before. I said M4 on one of the videos,” stated Wise.
