Blacklist International reclaimed its crown in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10 after a grueling beatdown against ECHO in the grand finals. The codebreakers spoiled the renowned super team’s championship dream after a 4-2 thriller that showcased unorthodox picks and intense team fights which left fans on the edge of their seats. While ECHO was able to perform impressive countermeasures to push Blacklist International on the edge, the royal squad stood tall in the end with a major comeback victory. Both teams will be competing in the upcoming MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2022 and the prestigious M4 World Championship.

Danerie "Wise" Rosario, the pro player who was previously criticized for his limited hero pool, showcased his tremendous growth with an unexpected Valentina jungle pick in game one. This caught ECHO off guard, allowing Blacklist International to take the lead with one win.

However, the hungry Orcas were out for vengeance in game two. Tristan "YAWI" Cabrera flexed his mastery with a Valir roaming pick which worked against the Codebreaker’s Faramis-Estes combo. ECHO kept its momentum going with another win in the third game thanks to Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya leading the charge with his Grock, resulting in a 2-1 series lead.

Blacklist International was able to flip the tides in its favor in the fourth game in a dominant fashion. Salic “Hadji” Imam lead the fifth game with a Maniac kill streak on his Pharsa while Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna was able to close the final game of the series with a victory with her on-point Noumenon Blasts.

Blacklist International's EXP laner Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap was named the grand finals MVP for the second time during his career in the league and received $1,000 USD in prize money.

Both Blacklist International and ECHO will represent the Philippines in the upcoming M4 World Championship. It will be interesting to see if the Codebreakers will be able to keep its momentum going and defend their world championship title.
