Now Team Mayavi is being accused of ringing by another Youtuber.

The recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 The Grind was quite the rollercoaster ride of a tournament for experienced teams. Viewers were taken aback quite a bit as experienced teams like Global Esports and Team 8Bit were eliminated from the tournament.

BGIS 2023 The Grind garnered a great deal of hype amongst the players and the community. Athletes were keen to prove themselves on this pedestal. With the event generating this much excitement and fierce competition, issues were bound to arise and they came forth in the form of cheaters and hackers. Cheaters have always been an issue in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Krafton has put in a lot of effort to ensure no one uses hacks or engages in unethical practices in the tournament. Players’ points of view (POV) of the matches are recorded and anti cheats are used to ensure no one cheats in the tournament.

Amidst all of the intense competition, a Youtuber named Hardscope accused Team Mayavi of ringing. He shared proof in his recently released video. Ringing is a case where a player plays from another player's account.

Ringing allegations against Team Mayavi

A lot of players and teams playing BGIS 2023 The Grind had accused Team Mayavi of using hacks in the tournament. Snehil “Snehilop” Saxena a Youtuber had provided proof of Team Mayavi using hacks in BGIS 2023 The Grind. Shubham “Mayavi” Chawla from Team Mayavi issued statements about the issue and gave an explanation on the said suspicious videos.

Now, another Youtuber named Hardscope in his video has accused Team Mayavi of ringing. According to him, the players from Team Mayavi that played the recent events were not the ones that were registered by them. The proof provided by him in his video shows two screenshots where there are two types of controls being used. According to him changes in the controls appear because two separate players have played from the same account.

After the hacking allegations against Team Mayavi came to light in the past, Mayavi from Team Mayavi had said that Krafton had done all the necessary checking of devices and Team Mayavi was not eliminated or disqualified from BGIS 2023 The Grind. Mayavi had also said that the team has been together for two years and their synergy and communication can clearly be seen with their results.

Ringing allegations are quite severe and can lead to the disqualification of a team from the tournament. In the recently concluded BGIS 2023 The Grind, a team was disqualified for such a type of issue.
