Mazy Believes Krafton May Release an Official Tier 1 Teams List After BGIS 2023
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most played battle royale games in India and its developer and publisher, Krafton, is always looking to improve and update its features every now and then. Since its launch, Krafton has put in efforts to make the game interesting by introducing events, skins and various other features.
On the competitive front Krafton caters to all the professional athletes and teams as well and may soon be looking into classifying Tier 1 teams. Tier 1 (T1) teams are teams which are skilled enough to compete at the highest level in a game. The teams which are consistently performing in a certain period of time and are gaining high placements in tournaments are termed as T1 teams.
In a recent live stream, Zishan “Mazy” Alam revealed that after Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 ends, Krafton may release a list of teams that can be considered as T1 teams, deemed capable enough to play at the highest level.
Krafton to release an official list of T1 teams?
Becoming a T1 team takes a lot of practice, grit and determination. Those players and teams which have performed consistently in tournaments over a certain period of time earn the T1 tag.
Mazy, in his recent live stream, shared a few thoughts and said, “After BGIS 2023 ends Krafton may release a list of teams that will be considered as T1 teams. This might also be an official list. I want Krafton to officially release a list of T1 teams, and if there are any invite only tournaments in the future then all these T1 teams should be directly invited to play the tournament”.
Talking to the fans he said that, “You guys should also raise your voice and ask for an official list of teams that can be classified as T1 teams. In this way everyone would actually know how many T1 teams are present in India”.
Earning the tag of a T1 team is quite beneficial for teams as they get direct slots in big tournaments. A T1 team doesn’t have to go through intense open qualifiers where there are unknown teams present. There are many third party invite only events in India organized day in and day out and T1 teams can enjoy the liberty of playing these events.
