Since the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Team Soul has dominated several events, and it demonstrated its dominance in Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 The Grind. However, it was unable to replicate its performance in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 LAN event and was eliminated.
Naman "Neyo" has been an essential member of Team Soul since his arrival. He is one of the promising young talents who has demonstrated his abilities in a variety of tournaments and contributed to Team Soul's recent success.
Sid talks about Neyo leaving Team Soul
Team Soul after dominating the initial stages of BGMS Season 2 was not able to replicate the same in the later stages which eventually led to its elimination from the event.
S8UL Siddhant “Sid” Joshi Sid recently stated that Team Soul's In Game Leader (IGL) Sahil "Omega" Jakhar, coach Amit "Amit" Dubey, and himself will make a decision and decide on a playing four for the upcoming competitions. Because the initial combination of Omega, Akshat "Akshat" Goel, Harsh "Goblin" Paudwal, and Sohail "Hector" Shaikh had been so successful, it was assumed that this lineup would be retained and Neyo would be benched. This sparked a lot of rumors, one of which being Neyo leaving Team Soul.
In a recent live stream, Sid addressed these rumors and said, “I don’t understand where these stories and rumors arise from. You guys spam such things in the chat and then I angrily reply to these comments after which you guys would tag Goldy bhai on Twitter/X and complain about me. Instead of spamming Neyo left in the chat, just ask me if such things are true or not. All the players are with us and are currently in the bootcamp with their coach”.
Team Soul has not been able to impress its fans with its recent performances. BGIS 2023 is an important event and fans will be hoping for Team Soul to make a comeback and dominate the event to eventually go on to be crowned the champion.
