Highlights
Team Soul was not able to put forth a good performance in the playoffs of BGMS Season 2 and that led to its elimination.
The team's elimination was surprising as it was dominating BGIS 2023 The Grind but it was not able to replicate the same performance in BGMS Season 2.

The ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 has been difficult for many experienced teams as they failed to adapt to the new points system and teams of the likes of Team Soul, Revenant Esports and Team Godlike have been eliminated from the event.

To the surprise of many, Team Soul was eliminated from BGMS Season 2 as it was unable to grab a spot in the top twelve of the playoffs. After Team Soul’s elimination, 8Bit Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, Akshat “Akshat” Goel and S8UL Siddhant “Sid” Joshi responded to the fans and assured them a better performance in the future.

Thug, Akshat and Sid respond to fans and assure better performance in future

Since the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in May, Team Soul has been one of the consistent teams and has dominated the majority of the tournaments. Its elimination from BGMS Season 2 was unexpected as it was one of the favorites to win the event.

After Team Soul’s elimination in the playoffs Thug shared a message with the fans and wrote, “Too close, too bad, but nevertheless, no point qualifying like this. Reality check for them”.

Akshat from Team Soul also responded and said,“Definitely not what everyone expected from us”.

Sid also shared some thoughts on the matter and wrote,“No such thing as hard luck. We sucked the entire event and I'm glad we didn't qualify like this. We are clearly not good enough right now. Will use this extra time and harsh reality check to reflect on everything we did wrong and fix it before BGIS.

Soul fans! Don't try to cope with the loss saying it's just one event. It's not. We've been playing bad for a while now and you as soul fans deserve 1st or nothing. I promise you we will do better”.

Team Soul was playing BGMS Season 2 and the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) The Grind 2023 simultaneously. Fans were surprised as on one side the team dominated BGIS 2023 The Grind but on the other side it was performing poorly in BGMS Season 2.

Fans are hoping that Team Soul’s elimination from BGMS Season 2 does not hamper its confidence and performance in BGIS 2023 Round 3. Fans are still backing their favorite team to make a comeback in the upcoming events and dominate them the way the team did so in the past.
