According to coach YnoT, the two matches will determine their place in the current league season.
ONIC PH lost to ECHO back in Week 1 and is looking to redeem itself in the upcoming rematch.

ONIC PH appears to have hit its stride as it is currently in third place in the regular season standings of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 13. After seasons of upsetting runs, the team finally built a solid foundation with a roster that demonstrates remarkable synergy. However, the team's true mettle will be put to the ultimate test once again during the upcoming fourth week of the MPL PH Season 13, as it prepares to clash with AP Bren and ECHO, two formidable opponents.

In a media interview, ONIC PH's head coach, Anthony "YnoT" Senedrin, expressed the team's enthusiasm for the impending challenges, viewing them as opportunities to gauge their prowess against the league's elite.

According to the coach, the impending matches will serve as a test for ONIC PH, evaluating the team's resilience, adaptability, and strategic depth against some of the league's most formidable competitors, including the reigning world champion.

“We take each week as it is, give our all, but we’ve been looking forward to Week 4. This is where we shall see where we stand this season,” expressed coach YnoT.

ONIC PH is yet to face AP Bren this season. However, the squad already lost against ECHO in the first week of the MPL PH Season 13 regular season. The upcoming rematch shall serve as their redemption arc alongside a chance to show their true potential against AP Bren, the M5 world champion.

Although ONIC PH has not yet encountered AP Bren this season, the team suffered a setback against ECHO during the inaugural week of the MPL PH Season 13. The upcoming week not only presents an opportunity for redemption but also serves as a platform for ONIC PH to unveil its full potential against AP Bren, the reigning M5 world champion.

“I believe the redemption for the first match [against ECHO], we’re also looking forward to that,” coach YnoT said.

For three consecutive seasons, ONIC PH has consistently found itself finishing in 5th-6th place. Yet, with a formidable lineup assembled for MPL PH Season 13, there's palpable optimism that the team might finally shatter this streak, paving the way for a shot at the championship title and a coveted ticket to the upcoming Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024.
