The Esports World Cup Foundation and MOONTON Games recently announced Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) as the first confirmed title for the inaugural Esports World Cup in Summer 2024. This also marks the first time that the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024 shall be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The upcoming event will feature teams from 14 international regions and over 35 countries competing for the record-breaking prize pool of $3 million USD, a huge leap compared to the recently concluded M5 World Championship which boasted a $900,000 USD prize pool.

Moonton Games has announced surprising news as Mobile Legends shall take center stage in the upcoming Esports World Cup 2024 as well as more information about the upcoming MSC 2024.

The upcoming mid-season event shall be held from 1st to 14th July in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This also marks the first time that an MSC event will be held outside Southeast Asia, following its revamp

In addition to the highly-anticipated MSC 2024 event, the MWI, an all-women MLBB invitational event, will also be held in the same region, boasting an expanded prize pool of $500,000 USD.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Ray Ng, the Head of Esports Ecosystem at Moonton Games, said that they are thrilled about the partnership, considering it a pivotal moment that marks a new and exciting chapter for MLBB esports.
