Blacklist International is currently undefeated in the regular season of the MPL PH League.

The defending champions, Blacklist International, wishes to have a rematch against Omega Esports if they ever make it to the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 8. During a post-match interview, Blacklist International’s young prodigy, Kiel "Oheb" Soriano, and the flexible midlaner Salic A "Hadji " Imam revealed that they want to go against their ultimate rival, Omega Esports, in the grand finals for various reasons. Oheb wants to test how strong is Omega Esports’ young prodigy Duane "Kelra" Pillas while Hadji finds it interesting how strong Omega Esports can become during the late game.

Blacklist International seeks a rematch against its rival, Omega Esports, in the grand finals of MPL PH Season 8

With an amazing performance this season, Blacklist International once again tops the leaderboard of the MPL PH Season 8 with six wins and no losses in its standing. The team had a few tough competitions but none of them succeeded in defeating the MPL PH Season 7 defending champions.

After a long and intense match against ONIC PH which resulted in a score of 2-1, in favor of ONIC PH, Blacklist International’s Oheb and Hadji revealed that they want to go against Omega Esports in the grand finals, similar to what transpired during the previous season.

Hadji stated that he wants to go against Omega Esports because he is impressed with how strong the team can be when matches get dragged to late game. Oheb, on the other hand, sets his eyes on Kelra, saying that he wants to test the star player’s limits.

I want to play against Kelra, so I choose Omega (Esports),” stated Oheb. “Everyone says he’s strong, they say “K is back,” let’s see if “K” is indeed back.

When asked whether he agrees with the statement that Kelra is strong, Oheb states in a sarcastic tone that he does agree because it’s what everyone is saying.

As the week progresses, matches become more high-staked with Blacklist International remaining as the only team that is yet to receive a loss. The team is scheduled to fight RSG PH on 17th Sept 2021 at 8:00 PM (PHT). It will be interesting to see if the team can keep its winning streak going or will one of the contenders take them down before the regular season ends.
