Here is how you can transfer your account for BGMI iOS users.

The much awaited Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) iOS version has finally launched today. Krafton had teased BGMI’s release for iOS users during the past week, and now, BGMI iOS can finally be downloaded through the Apple App Store. BGMI iOS requires approximately 2 GB space and will run on all devices including iPhone 6S and above with iOS 9.0 and higher. While BGMI was out for Android users a little over a month ago on 2nd July, iOS users have had to wait to get their hands on the game. Krafton previously announced that BGMI had crossed 50 million downloads on Google Play Store and released a permanent free outfit for players to claim.

Krafton had announced its first major tournament, Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) with registrations ending on 31st July 2021. However, Krafton later decided to extend the date to include iOS users. Now with the game’s launch on iOS, a larger number of players can now participate in BGIS for a slice of the ₹1,00,00,000 INR ($134,604 USD) prize pool. Registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series are still open.

So far, over 540,000 players have registered for the tournament and with the inclusion of Apple users, that number is likely to see a small bump. According to Statista, in 2020, Android held a share of 95.23 percent of the mobile operating system market in India. This was followed by Apple's iOS, a distant second, with 3.2 percent market share.
