Free BGMI Rewards for 50 Million Download Milestone: How to Get Galaxy Messenger Set
BGMI was launched in India on 2nd July and since then has reached several download and player count milestones. Yesterday, BGMI crossed the 50 million download mark on the Google Play Store within two months of its launch. To celebrate the milestone, Krafton has released the free Galaxy Messenger Set permanent outfit along with other in-game rewards like Supply Coupon Crate Scrap and Classic Coupon Crate Scrap that players can claim. The Galaxy Messenger Set is one of the first player-designed sets to be brought into the game by Krafton. BGMI is likely to see a surge of more players in the coming months as the game’s iOS version goes live. In a recent statement, Krafton said it will be making announcements on the iOS version of the game very soon on BGMI social media channels.
How to get Galaxy Messenger Set for free in BGMI
The rewards will be automatically unlocked once each milestone is achieved. To claim Galaxy Messenger set and other free BGMI rewards:
1. Open the game and go to the ‘Events’ tab.
2. Scroll down to the ‘50M DL: Final Phase’ tab on the right and tap ‘Collect’.
Players can also collect three Supply Coupon Crate Scraps and three Classic Coupon Crate Scraps from 50M DL Phase 1 and 2.
The event will run till 19th August, and on occasion of the Independence Day, Krafton has also released a temporary AWM skin which can also be claimed till Thursday.
Wooyol Lim, Head of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Division at Krafton thanked fans for helping reach the 50 million download milestone, saying, “We extend our warm wishes to our Indian fans on the occasion of Independence Day. We are delighted to be a part of this celebration, made even sweeter with Battlegrounds Mobile India hitting 50M downloads on Play Store in just over a month! I am looking forward to an equally strong response to our first esports tournament starting next month.”
Previously, Krafton had announced that BGMI reached 16 million active daily users, 2.4 million concurrent players, and over 34 million registrations by 12th July, just 10 days after the game’s launch. Krafton is also seeing a huge response for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) with over 540,000 registrations reported till date. Registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series are still open.
