Who Are the Yordles?

With its calm and cozy setting like Stardew Valley, Bandle Tale offers a break from the competitive nature of League of Legends.

Before getting into the details of Bandle Tale by Riot Forge and Lazy Bear Games, let us first understand who the yordles are.

In the Runeterra Universe, the yordles are a race of spirits who look like mammals that walk on two legs. While most of them reside in the magical world of Bandle City, some of them have ventured out and now live in numerous places around Runeterra, according to the lore.

The origin of yordles is unknown, often linked to the spirit realm, but can be traced back to a prehistoric time when there were no civilizations on land, thanks to the existence of Fizz who is an amphibious yordle. In order to easily blend within human habitations, yordles use an ability called glamor, which gives them the appearance of short humans. Basically, yordles are small and are fuzzy in nature in League of Legends.
