After a decade of waiting, the GTA 6 trailer is finally out. The trailer is still blowing past all YouTube records and gives us our first real look at the protagonists of the upcoming title. The trailer has a nice and short tone setting, with plenty of powerful imagery that delivers the tone across. However, some of the characters in the trailer aren’t as fictional as you’d assume.
Certain characters we come across in the trailer appear to be references to various real-life people who have been captured and spread online. If you’re wondering who these people are, we’ve got you covered. In this article, we’ll take a look at all GTA 6 characters in real life.
All Real-Life Characters in GTA 6 Trailer
1.Bonnie and Clyde
GTA 6’s main protagonists, Lucia and Jason, seem inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. In 1930s America, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were known as the robbery duo who were responsible for a two-year crime spree. While it’s unlikely that GTA 6 will bring the criminal couple’s story into the game, there are already echoes of their crime. We see the official trailer ending with Lucia and Jason about to rob a store. We also have rumors that the game will begin with Lucia breaking out of prison after she was arrested for robbing a bank.
2. Miami Joker
If you’re familiar with online virality, you might already know about the Miami man, who goes by the name Miami Joker or Florida Joker. He became internet famous in 2017 after his arrest, where he was charged with carrying a concealed firearm. In GTA 6, we briefly see a man with colorful hair and tattoos all over his face, resembling the Miami Joker.
3. Naked Gardening Man
The GTA 6 trailer also showed another almost-naked man watering his garden on a rainy day. A similar incident happened in September 2018, as reported by local news outlet WPTV 5 News, where a Florida man was doing yard work nude.
4. Woman Twerking on a Moving Car
The woman twerking on a moving car in the GTA 6 trailer references something that happened in real life. Back in 2017, a woman was filmed twerking on top of a vehicle on a highway. There have been multiple other similar incidents, but the original is the one that influenced this crazy character in the trailer.
5. The Naked Running Man
It’s not only a naked man doing yard work. In the reveal trailer, we also see a naked man running away from a cop through a gas station. It refers to a similar incident in 2022 that occurred in Oakville, Ontario, Canada when a man was running down the street completely nude.
6. Woman with Two Hammers
In the trailer, we can see an elderly woman wielding two hammers in front of a car. This refers to a 2020 incident, where a woman from Los Angeles went viral after footage emerged of her telling her neighbors to leave her neighborhood as she wielded two hammers.
