There’s no doubt that the gaming community has been over the moon ever since the release of GTA 6’s trailer. Players are eagerly waiting for the opportunity to order arguably, one of the most highly anticipated games of all time.

$225 GTA Pre-Order Listing Appears Online

Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the hottest topics in the gaming world at the moment, and is officially on the way in 2025. As reported by AutoEvolution, a website that goes by the name ‘G2A’ has listed GTA 6 for pre-order, reportedly for $225 USD. Multiple video ads have been spotted by the community running on YouTube, telling viewers that they can “download and test the gameplay”. That’s not all, the video also features the official Rockstar logo next to “Play now”.

Needless to say, this is 100% fake, as Rockstar Games is yet to announce anything about the game being available for pre-order. Heck, we know for a fact that GTA 6 will not be released on PC at launch. All that is known at this moment is that GTA 6 will be only releasing on PS5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles in 2025.

Before the reveal of the first trailer, rumors had started circulating on social media that Rockstar Games could charge upwards of $100 for the standard edition of GTA 6. It’s important for readers to only trust information that comes from Take-Two Interactive or Rockstar Games.

We can only expect these kinds of scams to continue popping up. Grand Theft Auto 6 is undeniably one of the most hyped and anticipated games of all time, and scammers will take every advantage they can before the game’s launch.
