After another early leak, Rockstar Games has finally revealed the GTA 6 Trailer and answered some of the biggest burning questions in the community, including its release date and platforms.
But is GTA 6 coming to PC at launch? Here's what you need to know.

After a decade of waiting, it's finally here. Rockstar Games has finally lifted the lid on Grand Theft Auto 6 a bit earlier than planned, also revealing that the game will launch at some point in 2025. There's no doubt that the trailer is a masterpiece, and players are already expecting the game to be the best thing ever made, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions after the trailer launch, including which platforms GTA 6 will launch on when it releases.

If you're wondering – 'Will GTA 6 Launch on PC', we've got you covered. Here's everything you need to know about Rockstar's next title release platforms.

Is GTA 6 Coming to PC at Launch?

Will GTA 6 Launch on PC? Here's What You Need to Know

Unfortunately, GTA 6 will not launch on PC at launch. In a press release published on 4th December 2023, shortly after the company was forced to launch the GTA VI trailer after it leaked online, it has been confirmed that GTA 6 will be only a next-gen console title, launching on PlayStation5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2025. Of course, the game won't be available on PS4 or Xbox One consoles; it's really time to let that generation of consoles rest in peace.

However, there's no mention of whether GTA will launch on PC, so we can assume that Rockstar is planning to skip the platform at launch. It's not the first time Rockstar is doing this; we've seen in the past with titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 that PC ports happen a year or so after the release.

But it's not like GTA 6 will never launch on PC; the title will be the biggest cash cow for Rockstar Games and Take-Two, and there's no way we won't see a PC release. We'll most likely get GTA 6 on PC in 2026/2027 once the game is out on consoles for a while. We understand your frustration if you're a PC player, but still, it's something we all knew was going to happen.

Hopefully, when GTA VI launches in 2025, the PC port won't be too lengthy. It's also possible that between now and 2025, Rockstar Games will come out with a GTA 6 PC announcement, though history says it's unlikely.

That's everything you need to know about the GTA 6 launch on PC. Be sure to follow us as we'll bring you the latest updates about Rockstar Games' next title.
