Lucia is the first female protagonist in all of the Grand Theft Auto games, and it’s a big deal, but there’s clearly more to her character than meets the eye right now. A lot of players have been making speculations about Lucia and her identity in GTA 6.

If you carefully look at the key art for Grand Theft Auto 6, you can see that Lucia is wearing an ankle tag, which means that she is most probably out on parole, which might keep her limited to a specific location in the game. It’s not surprising that we might get such limitations, as they aim to slowly introduce players to the GTA world. Veterans will remember that the bridges were shut in GTA: Vice City due to a hurricane. 

It also looks like Lucia is in a Bonnie and Clyde-style relationship with the game’s second protagonist, who, according to leaks, is called Jason, but the name wasn’t confirmed in the official GTA 6 trailer. These two are seen holding up stores, stacking up bundles of cash, and causing chaos in modern Vice City. 

GTA 6: Who is Lucia’s Actor?

Well, we still don’t know who is portraying the female protagonist in GTA 6, but that doesn’t stop the community from speculating.

A post on Reddit suggests that Grand Theft Auto 6’s protagonists are probably based on Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling’s characters in the film The Place Beyond the Pines, leading to multiple rumors that Mendes could be the actor for Lucia, but this is most likely not true.

It’s a known fact that GTA likes to parody our real world, so it wouldn’t be surprising that these characters are actually an inspiration for GTA 6’s protagonists.
