Diablo 4 is the fourth main installment in the series and is an action role-playing game (RPG) developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. After the game was first announced at BlizzCon 2019, it was finally released on 5th June 2023, with players getting early access from 1st June upon purchase of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game. Just like any other online multiplayer game, Diablo 4 servers can go offline if the developers are doing maintenance or preparing for a new update.

While server outages are very rare in Diablo 4, it is still a very upsetting issue for players to encounter when they are making progress in the RPG. These issues can prevent you from having fun and going on adventures in Diablo 4.

Update 2 (25th June 2023): Blizzard has stated that the DDOS attacks that were plaguing its servers have ended.

Activision Blizzard acknowledged an ongoing DDoS attack that has been affecting their games, including Diablo 4. The company assured players that their teams are actively working to mitigate the attack and restore normal latency and connections. They acknowledged that players may be experiencing queues while attempting to access the game.

They expressed their apologies for the inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for the patience shown by the players.


Over the last few days, players have been reporting issues that have had a negative impact while logging into Diablo 4. Some of them include the following:
