Diablo 4 is the fourth main installment in the series and is an action role-playing game (RPG) developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. After the game was first announced at BlizzCon 2019, it was finally released on 5th June 2023, with players getting early access from 1st June upon purchase of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game. Activision Blizzard acknowledged an ongoing DDoS attack that has been affecting their games, including Diablo 4. The company assured players that their teams are actively working to mitigate the attack and restore normal latency and connections. They acknowledged that players may be experiencing queues while attempting to access the game.
They expressed their apologies for the inconvenience caused and expressed appreciation for the patience shown by the players.
