In 2021, Riot Games partnered with DJ Anton “Zedd” Zaslavski to launch its Spectrum skin collection for Valorant in September. There were a ton of teasers and that particular patch also featured Zedd’s recording studio. Reddit user “u/squagwhofromph” posted a video of the location after discovering it and it is one of the many easter eggs that Riot Games added to Valorant.
The bundle was also a huge hit among the community, thanks to its sleek design and its audio and visual effects. On 19th March, Lollapalooza revealed this year's artist lineup and it also featured Zedd. In good news to Zedd and Valorant fans, he will be performing the infamous Spectrum bundle song at the event in Chicago, USA later this year.
DJ Zedd Keeps Up His Promise To Play Spectrum Bundle Song
On 19th March, the Lollapalooza Twitter account posted this year's artist lineup. Seeing Zedd on the performing list, the official Riot Games Music Twitter commented underneath the post asking, "@Zedd how many likes on this tweet for you to play the spectrum bundle song at lolla?"
To this, Zedd replied, "20K" and funny enough, Riot Games' tweet broke that record.
Seeing that the tweet's likes crossed 24K, Zedd then wrote, "Time to represent valorant at Lollapalooza." The Valorant social media admin then joked and tweeted in reply, "show them what that inverted sens do."
It will be interesting to see how Zedd incorporates the Spectrum bundle song into his set when he performs in August 2024.
The Spectrum bundle was announced by Riot in September 2021. The five weapon skin bundle was created in collaboration with DJ Zedd. The skins featured in the bundle can be leveled up to gain new effects and come in a number of variants. The bundle when released also included bonus content including two gun buddies, the Spectrum card and spray.
