Overwatch 2 is preparing for the release of Season 6 Invasion and is leaving no stone unturned in the process. This is going to be the biggest update for the title since its release in October 2022 and Blizzard Entertainment is executing accordingly.

The developers have already announced the game's release on Steam, making this its first title to leave the proprietary Battle.net with hopes of increasing its playerbase.

Meanwhile, the existing community is excited about everything new being introduced to Overwatch 2, including the upcoming Mythic Skin for Season 6 Invasion.

Overwatch 2 Season 6 Mythic Skin: Everything We Know So Far

Read on to find out which Overwatch 2 hero might receive the Mythic Skin this time with the story revolving around an invasion by the militant Omnic group, Null Sector.

Which Hero Will Get Overwatch 2 Season 6 Mythic Skin?

There are a total of 37 heroes in Overwatch 2 and out of these five of them are Omnics of different types.

  1. Zenyatta | Support

  2. Bastion | Damage

  3. Echo | Damage

  4. Orisa | Tank

  5. Ramattra | Tank

The upcoming Season 6 Invasion will build on the lore of a second Omnic attack by the militant group called Null Sector and it is expected that a hero from a similar background will receive the new Mythic Skin.

Out of the five heroes listed above there are two damage, two tank, and one support class hero with Zenyatta leading the pack as the most probable one to receive the Mythic Skin.

Most in the community predict this based on the pattern of all the Mythic Skins released to date in Overwatch 2.

  • Season 1 | Cyber Demon Genji Mythic Skin | Damage

  • Season 2 | Zeus Junker Queen Mythic Skin | Tank

  • Season 3 | Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic skin | Support

  • Season 4 | Galactic Emperor Sigma Mythic Skin | Tank

  • Season 5 | Adventurer Tracer Mythic Skin | Damage

Overwatch 2: All Mythic Skins

Both damage and tank roles have two Mythic Skins while support only has one. Based on this, the community predicts that the next hero will belong to the support class and Zenyatta is the only Omnic within this category.

In case this pattern is not followed, Ramattra is considered to be the next closest candidate to receive a Mythic Skin as he is the leader of the Null Sector and one of the main antagonists of the current lore.
