Overwatch 2 Mischief & Magic Game Mode: Complete Details
Following the conclusion of the Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 which was enjoyed by many across the community, Blizzard Entertainment has introduced another exciting game mode called Mischief & Magic.
This is the first time that a prop hunt game mode has been introduced to Overwatch 2. Here is everything you need to know about it along with its challenges and rewards.
How to Play Mischief & Magic Game Mode in Overwatch 2?
The developers have set the game in the magical world of Overland where a mischievous Rogue Kiriko has stolen a valuable artifact from Alchemist Mei, giving her the ability to transform into more than a dozen objects. To stop her from getting away, the Royal Guard Genji must catch her but it will not be an easy task.
Here is a quick explanation of how Mischief & Magic works in Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 players can enjoy the latest game mode Mischief & Magic where two teams of five players each play a classic game of prop hunt. Those hiding are Rogue Kiriko and others are Royal Guard Genji.
In order to win, those hiding must avoid getting caught and tagged by the seekers before the time runs out, whereas the seekers need to find all the five hiding before time expires.
The teams will keep switching sides after every round and the first to win three rounds will be victors of the match.
Talking about Rogue Kiriko, those hiding cannot attack, but they can jump, double jump, climb obstacles, transform into random props, and stun seekers.
As for Royal Guard Genji, the seekers are quick, they can do melee attacks, use swift strikes, and also the ultimate after gaining enough charge.
To play Mischief & Magic simply click 'Play' on the main menu, then go to 'Arcade', here the main highlighted game mode will be prop hunt, simply click on it and you are ready to go hide or seek.
