Highlights
The next skin collection to be released in Valorant is going to be the Kuronami bundle.
This beautiful collection will consist of four weapon skins, one new melee weapon, and four other items.
The Kuronami Bundle will be launched as part of the Premium category and released along with Episode 8 Act 1.

Valorant seems to have hit gold with the upcoming Kuronami bundle which looks simply fantastic. Everything from weapon design, animation, and even the unique melee feels fresh, not resembling or taking inspiration from any of the former collections.

Kuronami bundle will be the next skin line to arrive in Valorant's in-game store and will replace the current Run It Back Episode 7 bundle which went live on 27th December 2023.

The new collection is scheduled to go live along with the next major Valorant update which will also introduce the community to Episode 8 Act 1.

Valorant Kuronami Bundle: Complete Details

Riot Games always delivers when it comes to releasing new and innovative cosmetics and bundles for Valorant. This time the developers have come up with a collection called Kuronami, providing the community with something interesting that captures their attention.

Players are regularly treated to new cosmetics in Valorant either as individual skins, part of a purchasable bundle, or even through the seasonal battle pass.

Here is everything you need to know about the Kuronami Bundle before making a decision.

Kuronami Bundle: Price

The Kuronami bundle is going to be the next collection to arrive in the Valorant market along with Episode 8 Act 1 and will be a part of the premium tier of skin collections.

This means that it will cost players about $95 USD to purchase the Kuronami bundle.

  • Kuronami Bundle: 9500 VP (Valorant Points)

  • Kuronami Melee (Kuronami no Yaiba): 5350 VP

  • Kuronami Weapon Skins: 2375 VP

Kuronami Bundle: Release Date

Right now the Valorant market features the Run It Back Episode 7 weapon collection which went live on 27th December 2023 and will be getting replaced by the Kuronami Bundle in a couple of days on 8th January 2024, along with the next major update for the game which will also witness the release of Episode 8 Act 1.

The Kuronami Bundle will most likely stay around for a few weeks after which it will be replaced by another collection.

Kuronami Bundle: Weapon Finisher and Other Animations

The weapon skins seem to be based around the theme of water, rainfall, and thunderstorms.

This is evident by the animations used during a weapon reload, weapon inspection, and weapon finisher during which multiple water droplets suspend in the air before forming a ball around the fallen enemy while being accompanied by rain and thunderstorms.

The melee weapon called Kuronami no Yaiba which translates from Japanese to English as ' Blade Wave Blade' is very unique and the first of its kind in the game where two daggers or kunai-shaped blades are attached by a chain.

Weapon animation includes spinning the two blades, one in each hand, followed by controlling their movement by using the attached chain.

Overall, this collection looks good with the purple variant drawing some comparisons with the popular Reaver Bundle which is one of the earliest and yet amongst the most popular skin lines in the game.

The melee is a cherry on top which magnifies the appeal of this bundle which already has some great variants, animations, and effects.
