Will they continue to be a bane for Southeast Asia's finest?
Regarded as the best Valorant team from the Asia Pacific region, DRX is turning this statement into a fact with its flawless run in the ongoing VCT 2023: Pacific League. The South Korean esports organization has not dropped a single map till now in the regular season, showing how dominating they can be.
During the latest post-match interview, Pyeon "termi" Seon-ho - Head Coach of DRX, spoke on a lot of things including his thoughts on going up against Paper Rex in the fourth week of the league.
Time and again DRX has proven to be a kryptonite for Paper Rex. However, the latter has reinforced its firepower and it will be interesting to see if it is enough to turn the tide and come out victorious or not.
Termi on facing Paper Rex in VTC 2023 Pacific League: "Strategically we come out on top against them"
DRX vs Paper Rex is the big match of the fourth week that everyone is looking forward to witnessing. Sharing his thoughts on the match, Termi said that "First of all I think Paper Rex is a team that we know very well. I think strategically we come out on top against them and I think everyone is very hyped up about Foxy9 (Jung Jae-sung) vs something (Ilya Petrov) matchup, and I'm included in that party."
Foxy9 and something are talented duelists, getting their big breaks with their respective teams. They are known for their aggressive and bold plays especially when using Jett. It will surely be interesting to see how they hold up against each other if the two teams decide to include them in the playing five.
While DRX is currently leading the scoreboard with six consecutive map wins under its belt, Paper Rex is also holding up well in the third place with five maps wins to its name.
