The premier regional league of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, VCT 2023 Pacific League, is all set to kick off in a few day's time featuring a total prize pool of $250,000 USD (INR 2,06,62,125).

All the ten partner teams from the region will be competing in this tournament, fighting for a chance to qualify for both VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and Valorant Champions 2023.

Just two weeks after the conclusion of the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, partner teams from across the APAC region have gathered once again in Seoul, South Korea where the stakes are higher than ever before.

Out of the 30 franchise teams, ten are from the APAC region and all of them will be seen in action at the VCT 2023 Pacific League.

The regional league has been broadly divided into two stages, starting with the regular season which comprises the league stage, and culminating with the playoffs through which the top three teams will be shortlisted.

Format

Regular Season

  1. All the partnered teams will take on each other once following a simple round robin format.

  2. Every match in the league stage will feature a best-of-three series.

  3. In the first seven weeks, 25th March to 8th May, the matches will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

  4. The eighth week, 12th to 16th May, will play out as a super week where matches will be played from Friday to Tuesday.

  5. Based on the overall scoreboard, the top six teams will qualify for the next stage while the bottom four teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs

  1. The six qualified teams will take on each other in a double elimination bracket.

  2. All the matches will follow a best-of-three series except for the 'lower bracket final' and 'grand final' where a best-of-five series will be played.

  3. The top three teams will qualify for both VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and Valorant Champions 2023.

Prizepool

The total prizepool of $250,000 USD will be split between the top six teams, those that manage to qualify for the playoffs through the regular season.

On top of this, the top three teams will be qualifying for both Masters Toky and VCT Champions, while the remaining seven teams will drop down to the VCT 2023: Pacific League Last Chance Qualifier.
