MrBeast and Ninja are going head-to-head in a League of Legends grudge match with $150,000 USD on the line.

In the month of June, Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson announced that he might be hosting a League of Legends tournament soon and took the League of Legends community by surprise. It was not a surprise to see MrBeast showing interest in the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), since he has already talked about wanting to own a League of Legends team. What seemed to start as friendly banter turned into a grudge match between MrBeast and Tyler "Ninja" Blevins. Following this, fans can tune in and watch the MrBeast vs Ninja grudge match.

On 11th June, he tweeted, “I may or may not be hosting a League of Legends tournament soon,” and followed it up with, “Also @Ninja sucks.

Replying to MrBeast, Ninja wrote, “I would literally dominate you in a league of legends match and it wouldn’t even be close.

Now, the MrBeast vs Ninja tournament has a whopping $150,000 USD on the line as prize money and is slated to happen on 9th July at the HyperX Esports Arena in Las Vegas. The MrBeast vs. Ninja Ultimate Crown event will feature a best-of-three match between two stacked teams as part of Amazon and Prime Gaming’s Prime Day celebrations.

Both the content creators have been playing League of Legends for almost seven or eight years and MrBeast stated openly that this was his first time going big with the game since he wants to own a League of Legends team one day. In a teaser video, it became apparent that while scouting for team members, both Ninja and MrBeast had their eyes set on YouTuber Sapnap, and now, just days before the actual match, the two teams have been revealed.

The MrBeast vs Ninja grudge match begins at 6 pm CT on 9th July (Saturday). The event will be broadcast on the official Crown Twitch channel and will be live for three hours, according to the official announcement. The MrBeast vs Ninja event will also reportedly feature special interactivity where Twitch viewers can support their streamers using custom emotes that will influence the matches in real-time, according to DotEsports.
