Apex Legends’ new Season is called Hunted and it is bringing more changes to the battle royale alongside new content.
Vantage is the new legend who will be joining the Apex Games with Season 14.
There are more changes coming our way in Season 14 as revealed by Respawn Entertainment.

Respawn Entertainment is slowly dropping more details and information about the upcoming season of Apex Legends including Season 14: Hunted’s new legend Vantage. However, ahead of the official reveal of Vantage, Apex Legends developers accidentally leaked details about the new season and revealed the new legend’s name and in-game look. With the cat out of the bag, Respawn is starting to explain its plans for Season 14 clearly, and has condensed the upcoming changes on the Electronic Arts (EA) website. One of the most requested updates by the community has been the level cap in Apex Legends and the developers are finally addressing this.

Level Cap in Apex Legends

Finally, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts are updating the Level Cap in Apex Legends. After receiving a significant boost in 2019, Apex Legends' Level Cap has been stuck on 500. Initially, the game’s level cap was 100 and upon numerous requests from the community, Respawn Entertainment is hiking the level cap yet again with Season 14: Hunted. On the EA website, the company wrote, “Aim for staggering heights with the new Level Cap Increase.

Earlier on 22nd June, Twitter user SWL leaked that Respawn was working on a Level Cap increase in Apex Legends and wrote, “Levels 501-700 being added in the near future. Respective legends themed frames are Octane & Lifeline.

The Apex Legends community is excited with the news about the increase in the Level Cap since they have the chance to receive more Apex Packs for free. Players gain XP from playing the game and by gaining more XP, they can level up in the game. By opening more and more of these Apex Packs, players have better odds of acquiring Heirloom Shards in the game.

In 2019, when Respawn increased the Level Cap, it stated that players could climb up to Level 500 and also earn a total of 199 Apex Packs related to Player Level rewards, which were broken into the following categories:

  • Level 2 - 20: One pack every level (19 Apex Packs total)

  • Level 22 - 300: One pack every two levels (140 Apex Packs total)

  • Level 305 - 500: One pack every five levels (40 Apex Packs total)

Even though Respawn did not mention the new ceiling for levels in the game, from the leaks it could be possible that Apex Legends’ new Level Cap will be 700. However, with the Season 14 Hunted update dropping soon on 9th August, we will soon receive more answers regarding the max level in Apex Legends. One thing that is for certain is that players will be excited to climb their way to the highest Level Cap once the update goes live.
