The VCT OFF//SEASON 2023 is keeping the community hyped and entertained during an extended break from the main competitive season. It is also a litmus test for many teams that have undergone certain roster changes or complete lineup changes.
AfreecaTV Valorant League is part of the OFF//SEASON circuit which is scheduled to take place from 5th to 10th December between eight teams from seven different countries.
It will feature a total prize pool of $80,000 USD which will be split between all competing teams, taking on each other in front of a live audience at the Afreeca Colosseum located in Seoul, South Korea.

A total of eight teams will be competing in this tournament from seven different countries. Out of all participating teams, six are direct invites while two have made their way through the regional qualifiers.

AfreecaTV Valorant League: Format
Group Stage
The eight teams competing will be divided into two groups of four teams each.
Both groups will be following a double-elimination (GSL) format where all matches will feature best-of-three series.
The top two teams from both groups will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs
The four qualified teams will follow a single-elimination format.
The semifinals will feature a best-of-three series while the grand final will feature a best-of-five match.

The tournament features a total prize pool of $80,000 USD which will be divided between all eight competing teams according to their final standings.
AfreecaTV Valorant League: How to Watch
Unlike other Valorant tournaments, AfreecaTV Valorant League will not be broadcasted live on YouTube or Twitch.
Instead, the audience will have to visit a regional streaming platform called AfreecaTV in order to watch this event.
Apart from this, there will be watch parties that will be hosted by some of the regional content creators and streamers, so audience members always have the option of visiting their streams for a more personal viewing experience.
This is not a serious tournament and teams will mostly be having a fun outing, but they will certainly not be holding back and will give their absolute best.
They will certainly be looking forward to trying out various things with their new or former lineups, experimenting a bit while also trying to find out how strong they truly are.
