Escape from Tarkov
Escape From Tarkov, set in the fictional world of Norvinsk region in northwestern Russia, revolves around two military companies, waging war against each other. It is the world of tactical firefights and high-stakes extraction. With the latest updates to the game, it has become even more elusive.
As part of the December 2023 wipe, Battlestate Games has thrown in a surprise. A new boss named Kollontay has entered the desolate land of Tarkov. The early wipe in the game became a little suspicious but we know now why it was. This new character has entered the Escape From Tarkov landscape, and he's here to stay.
Who Is Kollontay?
Battlestate Games rolled out the latest Escape From Tarkov wipe on 27th December. It coincided with the release of the 0.14 patch, which brought forth a new map called Ground Zero, new boss Kollontay, and multiple changes to the recoil system of the game.
Added with a new 0.14 patch update to the Streets of Tarkov, Kollontay is a new boss in the game. He brings a backstory soaked in grittiness of a gloomy character. Formerly an officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he earned a reputation as a fearsome figure within law enforcement. What is his preferred interrogation tool? A rubber baton. He used it with a menace that left his colleagues trembling.

Escape From Tarkov
After the Terra Group scandal, Kollontay took an unexpected turn. He decided to form a gang. This led him to indulge in activities he once swore to combat—looting and marauding. His physical prowess and bold temperament can send shivers down anyone's spine.
Where to Find Kollontay in Escape from Tarkov?
Kollontay is not afraid; he stakes his claim on the chaotic Streets of Tarkov. If you're planning to cross paths with this new boss, he can be found near the Klimov Shopping Mall and the Tarkov Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. But keep in mind—he's not alone. However, his spawn chance is 5%.
A cohort of loyal bodyguards accompanies him wherever he goes. His spine-chilling presence transforms the streets into a battlefield. He likes patrolling his domain. And his weapon of choice—you guessed it—was a baton, a police baton. It is a symbol of his ruthless approach to maintaining control.
According to the Escape from Tarkov wiki, here are Kollontay's health stats:
Head: 65
Thorax: 300
Stomach: 150
Arms: 150 per
Legs: 120 per
Total: 1055
