Operation Aquarius Part 1 Quest in Escape from Tarkov is a pick-up task given by Therapist.
Here's everything you need to know about it.

Battlestate Games rolled out the latest Escape From Tarkov wipe on 27th December. It coincided with the release of the 0.14 patch, which brought forth a new map called Ground Zero, new boss Kollontay, and multiple changes to the recoil system of the game.

Quests are intended to be a large part of Escape from Tarkov. When a wipe gives players a clean slate, they need to grind to collect items, therefore letting players take up multiple quests.

The Operation Aquarius Part 1 Quest in Escape from Tarkov is a pick-up task given by trader Elvira Khabibullina who goes by her alias "Therapist." This trader bio refers to her as the head of the Trauma Care Department of the Tarkov Central City Hospital.

In this guide, we will take a closer look at the Operation Aquarius Part 1 Quest given by her.

Operation Aquarius Part 1 Quest Guide in Tarkov

This quest takes place on Customs, the second map that was added to the game. Players should note that finishing this quest is a requirement for the Collector quest to get their hands on the Kappa Secure Container in Tarkov. Completing the Shortage quest will unlock this Therapist task for you.

As you pick up this task, the Therapist will tell you about the drinking water problems in the Customs region and their origins. She will add, "I know that I can entrust you with the following information. We found out what the source of contamination is, and we know how to stop it. We need a bit more time, but we will get it done. Qualified engineers are already on it, but until then we will have to live on the remaining reserves (which are very scarce, indeed)."

The Therapist will tell you that some people have already stocked up on the clean water and that they are a part of the gang that inhabits the dorms next to the factory. The members were caught carrying plastic barrels filled with clean water.

She will say, "Acquiring this water will save many lives, so get out there and find where they store that water. We will all be indebted to you..."

The quest objectives are as follows:

  • Locate the water hidden inside of the dorms on Customs

  • Survive and extract from the location

You need to keep in mind just one thing when you take up this quest. You must be at least level 6 to start this quest.

How To Locate the Water for Operation Aquarius Part 1 Quest

The clean water, as requested by Therapist, will be hidden in dorm room 206. You can find this room on the second floor of the two-story dorms on Customs. However, you need dorm room 206 key to enter it.

Keep in mind that the key is found on Scavs, or you can barter it from Therapist LL1 for 7 Piles of meds. Once you have your hands on the key, just head over to the second floor of the two-story dorms. Once you open the door, walk into the room to complete the objective.

Only upon successfully extracting from Customs, this quest will be complete.
