Season 15 will likely have a new legend join the roster.
A new map is also expected in the next season.

Season 14 of Apex Legends added a new legend Vantage, an update to Kings Canyon and a major update to several weapons. The next season of Apex Legends is expected to add another legend, a new map and even more new content to Respawn’s battle royale. Here is when Apex Legends Season 15 starts and what you can look forward to.

Apex Legends Season 15 start date

According to the in-game battle pass, Season 14 will end in 40 days. This means Season 15 will start on 1st November, barring any delays by developer Respawn. Each Apex Legends season usually lasts about three months.

Who is the new Legend for Season 15?

Based on previous leaks, Season 15 Legend who is currently named ‘Catalyst‘. Catalyst’s passive is called Reinforce and allows them to strengthen the integrity of objects like doors and created ferrofluid structures, allowing these structures to take more damage. Their Tactical ability called Ferro Shot creates a ramp of hardened Ferrofluid that can be extended with more shots. Catalyst’s Ultimate Iron Tower raises a tall tower of Ferrofluid that turns a solid column under you. Graphic Designer SWL tweeted out more details about Catalyst.

Catalyst’s kit seems like a fresh new addition to the game. Their ability to build Ferrofluid structures is great for creating cover in open areas. Iron Tower will also help create instant high ground, a huge advantage in Apex Legends.

As always, leaks are subject to change, and so all this could have been changed or scrapped entirely by the time the new Legend actually releases.

New map coming to Season 15

Back in July, Respawn released a video ‘interview’ with Seer, possibly hinting at a new map coming to Apex Legends currently known as ‘Divided Moon’. Given the gap between new maps (Storm Point was released in Season 11), a new map can be expected in Apex Legends Season 15.

A conversation between Seer and Rampart in the new Apex Legends lore comic also hinted at a new map being on Boreas. Boreas is a planet in the Outlands and home to legend Seer.

Other leaks included a layout of the map:
