The ongoing Overwatch 2 Season 5 is well past its halfway mark and the community is already excited for the upcoming Season 6 which has been officially titled, Overwatch 2 Invasion.

When Does the Overwatch 2 Season 5 End?
The ongoing season of Overwatch 2 presented a story-driven battle pass campaign for all players to enjoy. It kept unlocking automatically in parts after every few tiers. Apart from this, the items and skins that came along with the battle pass were beautifully crafted and kept in line with the theme set by the developers.
Those grinding hard might have completed the battle pass but those struggling definitely need to hurry as only 23 days remain before it comes to an end.
This also means that Overwatch 2 Season 5 will be coming to an end in about three week's time on 10th August, Thursday at around 23:45 IST (Indian Standard Time), 11:15 PT (Pacific Time), 21:15 GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), 20:15 CEST (Central European Summer Time), 16:15 ET (Eastern Time), 13:00 CT (Central Time).
Immediately after it ends, Overwatch 2 Invasion will be launched by the developers which is the official name given to Overwatch 2 Season 6, breaking the usual norm because none of the prior seasons have ever been given a unique, individual identity like this.
Everything about the upcoming season seems unusual, even the day on which Overwatch 2 Season 5 is coming to an end. This is because usually, such a transition occurs on the second or third Tuesday of the selected month, but this time it will end towards the end of the week on a Thursday.
