Overwatch 2 Season 5 is currently underway and players are busy figuring out the meta, following the recent mid-season update where multiple heroes underwent balance changes.
Adding a bit of fun to the mix, developers also released the community favorite, Summer Gamers 2023, reintroducing the hit Lucioball along with the new game mode, Winston's Beach Volleyball.
In the midst of all this, it is easy for players to waiver from their path and forget grinding the Season 5 Battle Pass which is also packed with items, skins, and other upgrades.
Thankfully, Overwatch 2 is rolling out special Twitch Drops that will grant players Season 5 Battle Pass tiers for free. Here is how this limited-time reward can be obtained and all other information regarding it.
Overwatch 2 Season 5 Twitch Drops: Free Battle Pass Tiers
Overwatch 2 is not holding back from providing its community with back-to-back free goodies. First came the Sprinter Tracer Skin, after that the Sprinkles Mein Skin, then the limited-time prime gaming reward, and now some special mid-season Twitch Drops.
According to the post released by the developers, new Twitch Drops have been enabled which will provide players with a free battle pass tier skip for every two hours spent by them watching Overwatch 2 livestreams on Twitch.
However, there is a catch. A single player can only claim a maximum of five battle pass tier skips, which means that they will get a reward for only 10 hours of watch time.
They are free to watch Overwatch 2 livestreams even beyond that on the platform, but it will not grant them with any more Twitch Drops and associated rewards.
Do keep in mind that this is a limited-time opportunity and will be available from 11th to 24th July only. So any players interested in grabbing those free battle pass tiers better start watching some Overwatch 2 content on the platform.
