In Season 2024, all support items and quests have been combined into a single starter item to help decision-making easy. Talking about these item changes, Riot Games said, "One of the biggest changes we have coming with these gameplay changes is de-mythicing the item system. Our major goals with this change is to shift power from items into the champions themselves and to give players more flexibility with their build paths."
Additionally, it has removed Stopwatch and the Perfect Timing rune. Apart from this, players will see an item tooltip simplification update which should help make descriptions much more readable and understandable at a glance.
